• Annual Assessment to determine National Accreditation
• Twenty (20) hours of telephone consultation
• One (1) 4-hour on-site staff visit covering the topic area of your choice
• One Day assessment conducted by MMSA Staff and selected professional consultants
• Ongoing contact with the District Director and MMSA Communications

Technical Assistance
• Eligible to apply for Technical Assistance Grant ($1,000-$3,000 First 3 years only)

Communities must be invited to attend MMSA’s Application Workshop and Selection Process. Applications must be recommended by a Selection Committee and approved by the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Main Street Association. MMSA Membership Application
Designated Main Street Communities must sign an annual Memorandum of Agreement, follow the Main Street Four Point Approach, the Main Street Eight Guiding Principles and complete the 10 Point Main Street Criteria (National Main Street accreditation).
