Destination Downtown is a regional conference co-sponsored by Main Street Arkansas, the Mississippi Main Street Association, and the Louisiana Main Street program. The conference attracts more than 200 professionals in preservation-based, commercial district revitalization, including new and experienced downtown and neighborhood Main Street directors, board members, architects, planners, economic development professionals, public officials, volunteers, and consultants. Attendees are from communities of all sizes – from small rural towns, to historic commercial neighborhoods in large cities.

**Refunds for registration are not available after August 10th. Any request for refunds must be submitted in writing and will not be issued until two weeks after the conference has ended.

If you are interested in flying instead of driving to the conference, please email Greg Phillips ( He is working on group shuttle transportation to and from the airport. The Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) is 90 minutes away from Eureka Springs and there is also an airport in Branson, MO.


Destination Downtown is our final Main Street training conference in 2018. Please remember, the MOA states that a MS Main Street director (or board member) needs to attend three trainings per calendar year to remain in good standing and eligible for 2019 National Accreditation. Email Samantha if you are not sure how many trainings you have attended. We look forward to having a large group represent MS in Eureka Springs!
