April 10: Water Valley Wine Down: Join us for a Downtown Spring Open House and a fun night of sipping and shopping in the Valley on Friday, April 10th from 5:30–7:30 PM.
Restaurants, shops, and art galleries will be open after hours with live music, specials, treats, and wine tastings at participating locations.
Only 125 tasting tickets are available, and each includes a wristband and collectible wine tumbler. Once they’re gone, registration will close—so be sure to secure yours early!
We can’t wait to see you on April 10!

April 22-23: Preservation Bootcamp: The Historic Preservation Division of the Mississippi Department of Archives and History,
partnering with the American Institute of Architects | Mississippi, Mississippi Heritage Trust,
and Mississippi Main Street, will host its annual Historic Preservation Boot Camp on
April 22-23, 2026. The two-day workshop serves as an introduction to those interested in
but new to historic preservation, as well as a refresher course for long-time preservationists.

April 24-25: 10th Annual County Line Music Festival in Baldwyn: Baldwyn will celebrate its 165th anniversary as a chartered city and the 10th Annual County Line Music Festival on April 24-25. There will be a commemorative ceremony on Friday, April 24 at 6 p.m. followed by a concert by the Spunk Monkees from 7-9 p.m. on Main Street in Baldwyn. Saturday, April 25 will be filled with arts and crafts vendors, food trucks, kids' activities, and live music beginning at 10 a.m. Music will continue through the evening on the main stage on Main Street.

April 30: MMSA Network Application Workshop in Jackson: The Network Application Workshop will be held on Thursday, April 30 from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Charlotte Capers Building (100 S. State Street) in the first floor meeting room. The Application Workshop is for current Associate Members of the Mississippi Main Street Association.
Please review the Membership Pathway to see if your community is ready to consider moving forward to apply to be a Network program this year. Associate members must have paid their 2026 dues to attend. If unsure of your dues payment status, please email [email protected].
At least one representative from the organization must attend the workshop for the organization to be eligible to apply for Network membership this year. More than one representative may attend the workshop. Lunch will be included. There is no cost to attend, but please register by Monday, April 27.
