8th Annual EXTRA TABLE Empty Bowls

Extra Table's 8th Annual Empty Bowls returns to downtown Cleveland on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Delta Arts Alliance, 104 S. Court Street.

Empty Bowls is an international grassroots movement dedicated to fighting hunger one bowl at a time. In exchange for a $30 donation, guests will enjoy a delicious lunch featuring soup, bread, dessert, and a drink while also taking home a one-of-a-kind handcrafted ceramic bowl created by Delta State University ceramics students and local Delta potters. The handcrafted bowl serves as a reminder that many of our neighbors' bowls remain empty.

One hundred percent of proceeds benefit Extra Table's mission of providing healthy, shelf-stable food to food pantries and soup kitchens throughout Mississippi, including several organizations serving the Mississippi Delta and the Statesman's Shelf food pantry at Delta State University.

Whether you stop by during your lunch break, gather with friends, or simply want to support a great cause, your participation helps provide nutritious meals for neighbors in need throughout the Delta.
