June 26: Deep Roots Live! Downtown Cleveland
Community Event
Born and raised on a cotton farm in the heart of the Delta, “Mississippi Marshall” Hopper is a master storyteller and a two-time International Blues Challenge Semi-Finalist. He began his professional career at age 11, playing in juke joints along the Mississippi River. Backed by his band, The Juke Daddys, Marshall blends country, rock, and his signature "Delta thumbing" guitar style into a sound he calls "real deal blues." Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with greats like B.B. King and Charlie Daniels. Expect an emotional, high-energy performance that Marshall describes as “music that gives you chill bumps.”
