As a Main Street America Coordinating Program, Mississippi Main Street Association is part of a powerful, grassroots network consisting of 45 Coordinating Programs and over 1600 neighborhoods and communities across the country committed to creating high-quality places and to building stronger communities through preservation-based economic development.


Mississippi Main Street Association's public partner since 1989 is the Mississippi Development Authority and has many other strategic partners in Mississippi including:
Visit Mississippi, Mississippi Department of Archives and History, Mississippi Arts Commission, Mississippi Heritage Trust, Mississippi Center for Nonprofits, Mississippi State University Extension, Mississippi Urban Forestry Council, the Carl Small Town Center at the Mississippi State University School of Architecture, the MSU Stennis Institute  and the Mississippi Department of Transportation.
