MISSISSIPPI MAIN STREET ASSOCIATION TO HOLD MAIN STREET DAY AT THE CAPITOL, LEGISLATIVE LUNCHEON ON MARCH 4

The media is invited to attend Main Street Day at the Mississippi State Capitol for state legislators and Main Street representatives from more than 90 cities and towns. 

 

JACKSON, Miss. — On March 4, the Mississippi Main Street Association (MMSA) will hold a press conference at the Mississippi State Capitol building in the Rotunda on the second floor to educate legislators about the community and economic development successes of the Mississippi Main Street Association and its member communities.

 

Speakers include Lt. Gov. Delbert Hosemann, Chairman Trey Lamar, Rep. Sam Creekmore, Senator Bart Williams, MMSA Board President Kelle Barfield, MMSA Vice President Chance McDavid, and MMSA Executive Director Jeannie Waller Zieren. MMSA has 91 community members, and Main Street representatives from all over the state will be attending.
