Mural Park Activation, Tunica, Placemaking USDA Rural Development

The lot of our brand new Mural Park needed to be re-sloped and sodded. Then we added furniture that coordinates with our downtown outdoor furniture and brightly colored chairs that match the mural. We had light poles custom-fabricated and installed. Then added the cable and string lights. We now have a beautiful 'welcome mat' in downtown Tunica that we call Mural Park! We hosted our ribbon cutting and first event there during our annual Rivergate Festival on April 19-20. It was a huge success!
