Park Activation, Tunica, ARPA

In the very heart of Downtown Tunica, you’ll find our famous Rivergate Park. Rivergate Park is home to a beautiful clock tower that is decorated seasonally, an amphitheater with ample stadium seating, picnic tables, and green space. However, since the pandemic, Rivergate Park had become a bit of a ghost town. Lack of use and lack of funds have caused it to lose its luster and become dated and less than desirable. Our project improved Rivergate Park and returned it to its original intended use: A hub and gathering place of downtown Tunica that is beautiful, welcoming, and accessible to all. As events have returned in full force, a new and improved Rivergate Park welcomes residents and visitors to Downtown Tunica and proves that it is a great place to live and visit.
