Oct. 3: 46th Annual Okeelala Festival & Car Show in Baldwyn: Come enjoy a fall day in the park at Baldwyn's 46th Annual Okeelala Festival & Car Show. The festival features vendors lined through the park along with food trucks. There is a kids' corner of activities, live music, and the annual car show. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and supper at the park. This year's event will be Saturday, October 3. Vendors open at 9 a.m.

Oct. 3: Loblolly Festival in Laurel: The Loblolly Festival is held annually on the first Saturday in October and celebrates Laurel’s heritage as a sawmill town. Vendors from several states, artists, crafters and craftsmen set up shop in the streets of downtown Laurel.
