Sept. 26: Hernando Water Tower Festival: The Hernando Water Tower Festival is a beloved community tradition that brings thousands of visitors to the Historic Hernando Square each year. This family-friendly festival showcases over 150 vendors offering unique crafts, merchandise, and local goods, along with a wide variety of food trucks and festival favorites in Panola Street Eats. Families can enjoy the Kidz Zone, live entertainment, community exhibits, and activities throughout the day. Celebrating the spirit of Hernando, the Water Tower Festival is a day filled with shopping, food, entertainment, and community fun for all ages.

Sept. 26: 2026 Tallahatchie Riverfest in New Albany: The 2026 Tallahatchie Riverfest is set for Saturday, September 26, 2026, in downtown New Albany. As one of Northeast Mississippi’s premier music and arts festivals, Riverfest continues to grow each year, bringing thousands of visitors to experience live entertainment, local food, shopping, and community spirit along the banks of the Tallahatchie River.

Sept. 26: Miss Okeelala Pageant in Baldwyn: Baldwyn's annual Miss Okeelala scholarship pageant will be Saturday, September 26. Location is TBA. The pageant is open to boys ages 0-6 and girls ages 0-19. The 16-19 year old girl division will offer a scholarship for contestants who place. More information coming this summer!
