Oct. 3: 46th Annual Okeelala Festival & Car Show in Baldwyn: Come enjoy a fall day in the park at Baldwyn's 46th Annual Okeelala Festival & Car Show. The festival features vendors lined through the park along with food trucks. There is a kids' corner of activities, live music, and the annual car show. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy breakfast, lunch, and supper at the park. This year's event will be Saturday, October 3. Vendors open at 9 a.m.

Oct. 10: Town Creek Festival & Archaeology Exposition in Nettleton: Nettleton Main Street is proud to announce that we received a $10,000 grant to support the Town Creek Festival & Archaeology Exposition. This funding will help bring archaeologists and cultural educators to share the Indigenous history of the Town Creek area through demonstrations, artifacts, and hands-on learning activities. The grant allows us to create meaningful educational experiences that honor the Native peoples who once lived along Town Creek.
