The primary goals/mission are to promote tourism, provide progressive leadership for economic and community vitality for the greater Ocean Springs, Jackson County area and Gulf Coast and to enhance local culture and preserve quality of life through planned growth, diversification and beautification.
About Ocean Springs
Ocean Springs, a cottage community rich in cultural, is located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. This historic town is filled with several miles of shopping, dining and entertainment surrounded by arts, beautiful landscaping, bayous and a walkable downtown district that you do not want to miss. With the Chamber of Commerce-Main Street-Tourism Bureau offices located in the heart of downtown, this community focuses on enhancing the local culture and preserving the quality of life.
We invite you to stop by the Ocean Springs Welcome Center located in the historic L&N Depot Plaza to find out all Ocean Springs has to offer. Meet our friendly staff and fill up on brochures, maps and more. Take a glimpse of local art in the center, get a list of upcoming events and festivals happening in town, check for hotel availability and start your day on the Live Oaks Bicycle Route or walk along our beach front. Ocean Springs is a 2013 Great American Main Street Award-winning community and has been recognized nationally as a great place to live and visit.
