The mission of The Main Street Chamber of Leake County is to serve our community by partnering with its citizens, merchants and government to enhance and conserve our historical assets, and to develop and expand the vitality of commerce by embracing sound approaches to preservation, by implementing innovative methods for commercial expansion and by promoting events to showcase our community.
About Leake County
Leake County is a county located in the center of Mississippi. Its county seat is Carthage. The county is named for Walter Leake, the Governor of Mississippi from 1822 to 1825. Leake County’s country-style living yet close proximity to major metropolitan centers like Jackson and Meridian, good business climate, churches, schools, and medical facilities make it a great a great home for both families and businesses to grow.
